Welcome to the Esparza Speakers Blog!

I’m Jane, owner and manager of Esparza Speakers, and it’s exciting to be launching this new blog of ‘all things speakers.’  

Blogs, of course, are typically online journals and commentaries.  Some who know me might think I’m excited to have a place to ‘talk’ to my heart’s content—but that’s not what this blog is about.  

What is the goal of the Esparza Speakers blog?  Well, it is a fairly obvious place to make announcements about new speakers for ES, the books they publish, new programs they develop, and such.  But this blog won’t be just a commercial for ES.  It’s intended to be a great forum to share ideas and insights about meeting trends, topic ideas, program issues, event marketing—all issues important to today’s meeting professionals who engage speakers.  If this blog is successful it won’t be because of me—it will be thanks to an online community that checks in regularly and participates often.  

I invite the speakers I represent to blog with me … to share their observations about events, insights from their books, or a funny story from ‘behind the microphone.’  

I invite clients (and prospective clients) to blog with me … to share tips, ask questions, and discuss trends and ideas.    

This should be an ideal forum for speakers and those who hire them to interact with each other!  Of course I hope you’ll discover—and engage—the outstanding speakers I represent.  But I really want this to be a great online destination where folks can stay current on the who, what, why, and how in the speaking and meeting industries.    

Here’s hoping this is (with apologies to Bogey) the beginning of many beautiful online friendships!
